1. Is the PEO licensed in your state?
Advantage's license number is GL109. You can contact the Board of Employee Leasing Companies, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Northwood Center, 1940 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0767. Phone: (850) 922-2971 to confirm the license of any PEO in the state of Florida.
2. Is the PEO a member of the National
Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO)? Is the PEO a member of the state chapter of NAPEO?
Advantage is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Professional Employer Plans, a member in good standing of both the NAPEO and the Florida chapter of the NAPEO.
3. Have any complaints been filed with the state's licensing agency?
Advantage has not had any complaints filed with any state agency.
4. What is the PEO's retention rate of clients?

6. Does the PEO have a fully insured workers' compensation plan? Will it ADMINISTER unemployment and workers' compensation claims?
Advantage has a fully insured workers' compensation policy through an "A — (Excellent)" rated carrier. In addition, Advantage will help you minimize potential risks to your employees and operations by providing Loss Control and Safety Specialists to assist in decreasing accident risks. Advantage will promptly initiate all accident investigations, prepare and file the First Notice of Injury, and administer all workers' compensation claims.
Advantage provides all of your outsourced human resources needs, including employee separation processing and administration of unemployment claims.
7. Can the PEO demonstrate how its safety program will help you?
As a co-employer, Advantage is committed to providing our clients with specialized loss control services in an effort to eliminate employee injury. Our loss control department works closely with our clients to assist them in their safety needs.
Some of our loss control services include:
• On-site safety surveys
• Hazard identification
• Safety program development
• On-site employee safety training, including such topics as:
• Hazardous communication
• Fall protection
• Safe lifting techniques
• Industrial hygiene sampling
• Supervisor training
• Annual OSHA 200 logs
